I have an introverted personality, I have been working on it for years to improve it but this characteristic remains in me, attenuated but present. Apparently, working with social networks and managing conversations shouldn't be for me. My partner has a completely different personality, he didn't have to force himself and everything he does comes naturally to him, like swimming for a fish. At the beginning I often thought I was in a hostile environment and that it wasn't right for me. I was wrong!
Today I read a post on business2community.com by John Doyle which illustrates how an introverted personality actually has excellent chances of success in digital conversations.
According to the author, introverts, through their reflective nature, are able to analyze situations better and present them more effectively. Synthesis is their best weapon, they are not accustomed to beating around the bush and create Cell Phone Numbers List useful and usable content without unnecessary length (an excellent feature for the lazy web audience).
To be successful online you need to get to the point quickly without sacrificing creativity. Having spent their entire lives avoiding small talk, introverts are experts at cutting through and getting straight to the issues that matter.
Being naturally empathetic, attentive and good listeners, they are masters at building strong relationships with their community and building a professional network.
Social media is about sharing, sharing ideas and opinions of others and the community. Introverts are experts in sharing when it comes to ideas and not having a self-centered personality, they are able to give space to those who deserve it by stepping aside, in this way they increase the esteem of the following and of those who are highlighted.
An introvert is not inclined to pretend, he finds it quite tiring to muster up the energy for a sincere conversation, let alone a deceptive one.
It is introverts who invented the Internet and social networks, people who work far from the noise and the show.
The last point is a joke and I note how the synthesis and care of conversations is a peculiarity of this character. But if an introvert can get lucky online with an acceptable effort, it is offline that his unsocial and flexible nature comes to the surface. Personally, I am working hard on this and some results are starting to show.
